60-minute men
FOXBOROUGH -- First there were "Humble Pie" T-shirts. Today, some Patriots players donned new T-shirts which read "60-minute men".
The blue T-shirts have a large fist on it, and the fist was shown breaking through with white tape over the knuckles. An American flag is seen in the background.
The T-shirts were produced by DL Jarvis Green through his charitable foundation. We initially wrote that the T-shirts had the team's logo on them, but we were mistaken.
Playing 60 minutes, and getting stronger as the game progresses, has been one of the main themes surrounding the Patriots this year. The Patriots' focus in this area seemed to pay off in the team's most recent game, at Indianapolis, when a strong finishing kick in the fourth quarter helped turn a 20-10 deficit into a 24-20 victory.
Earlier this year, Patriots LB Adalius Thomas produced "Humble Pie" T-shirts which players seemed to enjoy wearing. Those T-shirts played off the theme that regardless of how well the Patriots played, they were assured of eating some humble pie for some aspect of their performance.

Both of these T-shirts exemplify our beloved team. Is there anyway the public can purchase these through the appropriate foundation? I'd love to have one.
Whoa! These would be big sellers for a charity if available. Way to go!
I saw one of these T-Shirts on Jarvis Green when he was on 'Mike and Mike in the Morning' on Tuesday. Only caught the top of it and was not sure what the 60 was in reference to. Cool!
Hoping we will be able to get a hold of these someplace...
Oh by all means! All good Patriot fans MUST have one! Do tell, where we can buy them. Christmas is fast approaching.
Jarvis and AD need to sell these to fans with the proceeding going to their charities. There's a market...
Got to sell these! I would love to wear one in Buffalo this week and show the nation.
Great idea! Even greater when the Steelers did it 15 YEARS AGO!
Nice job stealing from Ray Seals and the original 60 Minute Men in Pittsburgh.
Did Adalius ever get the shirts with the humble pie and the ingredients on it? I heard him talk about it on tv, but never saw them get produced.
Hey frank, maybe you are right, but did you ever consider Green never heard of ray seals? Like i havn't? Got a patent # I can look up somewhere?
Nobody's trying to pass off the idea as an original one, and nobody owns the idea. It makes a great t-shirt and really matches the theme of the year the Pats are having.
It's not likely Ray Seals was the first to conceive of the phrase, either.
So, lighten up, Francis.
While the Steelers may have used the "60-Minute Men" idea 15 years ago, it is very appropriate for the Patriots to use it because of the obvious historic reference to the "Minute-Men" which is part of Boston (and U.S.) history.
You can get the 60 Minute Men t-shirts at TodaysChamps.com
I did...love it!!!
They are now available at Jarvis Green's website + at Bob Stores. Here is the info from the website:
