Honor for Moss

By Mike Reiss, Globe Staff November 7, 07 04:11 PM

Patriots WR Randy Moss has been named AFC Offensive Player of the Week after catching nine passes for 145 yards and one touchdown in Sunday's win over the Colts.

The last time Moss won a player of the week honor was in 2001, with the Vikings.

  1. Moss has got to be happier than a pig in you know what. I feel good for the guy. He may have been a problem child in the past, but now he looks just like a guy that is willing to work hard, be a leader, and do whatever it takes to get that ring on his finger.

He will fall into place with Corey Dillon, Rodney Harrison, hopefully Junior Seau, as solid NFL players that, after long careers, finally got to be a CHAMPION. I certainly will feel good for both him, and Junior.
