Ty blogs it up

By Mike Reiss, Globe Staff November 30, 07 06:10 AM

Patriots DE Ty Warren is entering the blogosphere with a splash. He's revamped his Web site, tywarren94.com, and is inviting fans to check it out.

"The site will be more up to date, more interactive, video blogs, interviews," Warren said in the team's locker room Thursday. "I wanted a place to be more interactive with the fans."

Visitors to the site are greeted by Warren's voice and a picture of him being embraced by coach Bill Belichick. One area of the site that is sure to draw attention is a drawing for two Super Bowl tickets.

  1. that site is pretty slick,
but I'm wondering how Ty has 3 rings as the graphics say when the page loads,
    anybody?

  1. If he wants his fans to see the site, it might help if the entire freaking site wasn't done in flash. That's *terrible* web design.

All I saw was a giant broken plugin image.

  1. Pretty cool, though it needs a little housekeeping -- the place to send fan mail is still listed as "TBA," right over another line that provides a fan mail address. Also, the "schedule" line still shows the game (w/results) vs. Philly, rather than the upcoming tilt with Baltimore (though that's referenced under "Ty's Events.")

Cool music, though. Is that a digideroo I hear? Talk about Australian Rules Football.

I still give the edge to TheRealRandyMoss.com, though.
