Ty & Thanksgiving
MANSFIELD -- Patriots defensive end Ty Warren is out in the community today, taking 13 families shopping for all the items necessary to prepare a Thanksgiving meal. Warren and his wife Keesha hosted the event through his 1st and Goal Foundation at Shaw's Supermarket in Mansfield, Mass.
"I've been on the other end of the spectrum, being raised in a single-family home, where what we earned wasn't enough to provide for me and my two siblings," Warren said. "I thought it was important for the families to come out and actually meet my teammates and I and pick out the items that they wished to prepare for Thanksgiving."
The Warrens were joined by safety Rodney Harrison, receiver Kelley Washington, cornerback Ellis Hobbs and offensive lineman Billy Yates.
"It means a lot to me that they came out and supported this cause; that was huge," Warren said. "I think the families really enjoyed it."

Shhhhhhhhh...... We don't want anyone else to know that our Patriots have a heart and soul.
They're just classless. At least, according to everyone else.
This was one of the reasons NE moved up to get Warren. This kid supported his family working a job while playing DIV 1 football at a high level. When the term high character player comes up Ty Warren should always be there.
God love them--it is a great thing that they go out into the community and make sure that the less fortunate are provided for--we all should do that...they lead by example.
So many athletes that came from an underpriviliged environment quickly forget when they earn large salaries. It's gratifying to see that Ty/Keesha and others on the Patriots are not among them. It is a pleasure to cheer for the Patriots because of this. Our world needs many more Ty Warrens.
Good stuff....ing
Thanks Mike
Obviously Ty is a great ball player. This shows he is even a better person. Thanks Ty!!
And according to Tomlinson, the players are a reflection of their coach.
Between this and Jarvis Green raising Marquise Hill's son, it's no wonder everyone hates the patriots...
