1st half analysis
Some analysis from the first half, with the Patriots and Ravens tied at 10:
The Patriots opened in their 4-3 defense, but the results were not good. Despite the addition of Jarvis Green, the run defense struggled to find its groove. That allowed the Ravens to have balance in their offense, which helped quarterback Kyle Boller. The Patriots' dime defense had the big breakdown on Devard Darling's 53-yard catch, with rookie safety Brandon Meriweather missing the tackle. By the middle of the Ravens' third drive, the Patriots made the switch to the 3-4 and things seemed to improve.
Offensively, the Patriots have had three, three-and-out drives, and this is far from their best work. TE Benjamin Watson had a touchdown catch swatted away by LB Ray Lewis on the team's first drive, which set a tone for the night. WR Jabar Gaffney also had a drop. The Ravens are getting to Brady and generating some pressure, mixing their schemes.
Overall, the Ravens have played the game the way they've had to. Defensively, they've thrown a wrench into the Patriots' high-flying attack. Offensively, they've had some surprising success moving the ball and haven't turned it over.
The Ravens get the ball to start the second half. Turnovers will likely decide the winner in this one.

I think that Asante Samuel was way out of position on the long pass play, gambling on the bat-down instead of trying to hit the receiver.
Mike, Samuel got caught too far in the middle looking at the QB scrambling and then tried to make the hero pass deflection taking himself out of the play right before Meriweather missed his tackle so both DBs made errors on that play.
McGahee is shredding our defense and, on a windy night, this does not bode well.
