More on snow practice
FOXBOROUGH -- The Patriots held their Thursday practice in snowy conditions inside Gillette Stadium, and in his Friday press conference, coach Bill Belichick said the team wasn't limited in its work.
"We had a normal practice," Belichick said. "Practice started with very light flurries, it was very pleasant out there. By the end of practice, there was significant accumulation on the field."
That allowed the Patriots to experience specific situational work while playing in snowy conditions. Belichick described some of the situational work as: "Wet ball, ball handling, playing in the snow, field awareness without the lines, alignment, the whole depth on a field with no [visible] markings, special relationships of the goal posts and the landmarks you have to estimate at when you don't have those markings."
Given the possibility of snow for Sunday's game, Belichick was asked if it was the perfect scenario to practice in those elements.
"I don't know how it's going to be on Sunday. You listen to four forecasts and get four different versions of it," Belichick said. "Sooner or later, maybe we'll play in it. Maybe we won't. We've practiced in rain, wind, snow, heat, night, afternoon, morning. Whatever. There are things you can learn from every experience -- practice, games -- and there are some we got yesterday. Whether they'll have application Sunday, I don't know. I'm not really worried about it. If it does, it does, it does. If it doesn't, it doesn't. Maybe it will some other time."
EXTRA POINT: The field is currently cleared of all snow and the Patriots are scheduled to practice in the stadium again today.

The jets had better pray that it does not snow too much or else the Pats are going to lay the beatings of beatings and one the NFL will talk about for years to come !
WAR the score being 73-0 !!
Let's suppose the final score is Pats 13 Jets 10. Will we see a mass suicide at the Razor?
Nope, all they have to do is win.
Just win baby
The Jets were a 23 point underdog against the Colts in Super Bowl III.
Dare I suggest history will repeat itself. Jets 16, Pats 7. Ouch. Perfect year spoiled.
Time to smash the jet's in the mouth! Go PATRIOT'S
Its not a matter of if they win....Its a matter of by how much, how many injuries they inflict and if they will be able to bring in the huge clock with the countdown to a perfect season....19-0 oh oh! And a footnote, brady will set the record for most offensive players with a touchdown pass!
Go Pats
Gonna sit back with some beer and watch it all happen!!!!
The only way the Jets can cover the points, avoid a blow out or shut out is to just forfeit now.
Pats should go for two on every touchdown!!!!!
The PATS will go out and Play it's Game and will Win by 10+ or so. It will be a good day for our N/E Pats. Go Team/Go Pats.
Pat's fan for years......would have thought Pats would absolutely crush the Jets but with the weather potentially being real real bad it brings things down to a place where anything can happen......I'm a bit concerned.
Patriots fans, of which I am one, get bad reputations for brashly predicting victories by huge margins. Let's be thankful if we get a win and nobody gets hurt heading into the playoffs. As for "punishing" the Jets, the Jets players are professionals. The Patriots will play them again many times, so let's give them the respect they deserve. As for Mangini, his won-loss record will send a message to the New York owners and fans.
Going for 2 after every Touchdown could be interesing...I already heard rumors the punter will be in-active for the game...ha, ha, ha
