Moss: TD percentage

By Mike Reiss, Globe Staff December 7, 07 02:28 PM

The following was a note that caught the eye, from the NFL:

Now in his 10th season, WR Randy Moss has totaled 751 career receptions, with 15.71 percent of those catches going for touchdowns. The percentage is the highest in a career for players with a minimum of 500 catches.

The top five of all-time:

  • 1) Moss -- 15.71
  • 2) Lance Alworth -- 15.68
  • 3) Terrell Owens -- 14.68
  • 4) Nat Moore -- 14.51
  • 5) Mark Clayton -- 14.43
