'72 Dolphins: 'Shut up'
The public relations folks at XM Radio pass along the following:
PGA Tour golfer Chris DiMarco, who hosts the XM Radio sports show “Opinionated with Chris DiMarco,” had no shortage of opinions when it comes to the Super Bowl this Sunday. Here’s what DiMarco told XM Satellite Radio:
“I’d like to see the Patriots win, just so all those old Miami Dolphins who keep cracking champagne every time an undefeated team loses can just shut up and be done with it. They had a great season, but it was 1972. I like the Patriots, and I’m going to say the score will be 31-24 Patriots. If it happens the other way, I’m still going to be happy. I’m a New Yorker, so I like to see the Giants win, too. I think it would be great for Eli, obviously, to get out of his brother’s shadow. He’s always Peyton’s little brother, you know? The Giants are an amazing road team. You know the New York fans. I mean, you lose one game there, you’re hated for life. So (laughing) they probably feel a lot calmer on the road. There’s more pressure at home.”

Nothing wrong cracking champagne especially when your team is not a Cheater!
I agree - Time for the FU 72 shirts
You do realize that the Pats got caught doing what everyone in the league does...
what the 72 dolphins did is hold on to the second hardest record in sports (home run king being the first). so the 72 dolphins should be proud of what they did and they have the right to pop champagne every year. im a hard core dolfan but i have to tip my hat to the pats because this year's team can beat any other team in the history of football. dont get me wrong nothing would make me happier than to see the pats lose this sunday but if they do win then congrats and welcome to the club.
Must be someone who jumps in at the end of the season and says he is a football fan. Either that or you are truly jealous of the Pats and this is the only way to get over the fact that the team that lets you down every year stinks!! Get over it and enjoy greatness already!!
