I love Belichick attitude. He is delivering the right message to his players.
Here in San Diego I feel like DejaVu, were the fans and the media, back-up by the players, are proclaming already a trip to Glendale, AZ
I believe the Titans and Colts put together the wrong game plan, which was to stop LT (and they did) but with the consequences of a very tired defense on the second half being unable to rush the passer.
I'm hoping to see a good game on Sunday, and hope for the Pats to give a good lessons of classy victory to the Narcissistic Personality Disorderer Chargers players.

Oh the horror: too much sun, no freezing days, no cheating... only people from New England could consider "perfect weather, warm beaches and a laid-back lifestyle" an insult. The Pats SHOULD WIN, everyone EXPECTS THEM to win. What a long, cold stretch of months IF THE PATS SHOULD POSSIBLY LOSE. They say the Chargers are a different team from the beginning of the year, and that they were getting use to new coaches. Well, we were getting used to a lot of new things as well. AD was getting used to a new defense, and Tom was getting used to a whole bunch of new receivers. Chargers say they have new players for this game. Well, we do too. Missing from that game were Harrison and Samuel, two players that have a huge impact on this team.

The Chargers have been really laying in the second half of the season. Who have they played of consequence? They played the Colts, coming off a devastating loss to us. Other than that they really haven't played any good teams. Raiders, Chiefs, etc.etc. Their quality win record is 2-3 with a point differential of -6. The Pats are 7-0 with a point differential of +19. The Chargers are beat up, coming off an emotional win, and have to cross the country to play the best.. The only way they win is if the Pats lose it themselves.

Im not a true fan of either squad but I do reside on the west coast. The only thing I want to add to all the smack talking that is going on in this blog is that the Pats should not underestimate the Bolts. These guys are motivated and ready to bring it to the Pats. Belichick = pure class during his press conferences. We're all convinced that both the Jaguars and the Chargers are very good teams with alot of talented players. But you have to admit, the Chargers are the classiest act in the NFL. Just ask Tomlinson.
If the Chargers were playing any other team, I'd say that it was a darn shame that Rivers, Tomlinson and Gates are injured. But seeing how they're playing the Pats, I couldn't be happier. Can the Patriots do better than the second week of the season against a much healthier Chargers team (38-14)? You can bet your pattutie the can and will. The chargers are the biggest bunch of whinners I have heard in a long time. They moaned and groaned when the Pats celebrated the playoff win last year. Oh boo hoo. They moaned all season long about one thing or another.

Old Norv wouldn't have two play off wins if the chargers had played the Pats in the first round. The Titans did not belong in the playoffs and Indy was just plain flat.

I'd rather have the Pats play the Chargers than Indy. Manning is superb and a dangerous player. The Pats are right not to dismiss the Chargers, as the Charger players might just play the best game of their lives.

I have been a Pats fan since their inception. Now that I am a Wisconsin resident I have also pulled for the Packers. The last Pats/Packer Super Bowl was disappointing, this time around the outcome will be different. Go Pats!

Being a SD Native and HUGE Bolts fan for years, it is so NICE to be able to get to play again for a Championship Game. We don't have any rings, but we do have the loyal fans like myself, who follow them NO MATTER WHAT. I was rooting for the PAT's in years past, and even the Red Socks, but now of course I have changed after last years game that we gave to you. You are by far a better team this year than you were last year,but last year we were better, and turnovered the game to you. Payback is sweet and if I didn't have to keep paying for my daughters Harvard Education, I would glady leave the 75 degree, blue sky's here to go to Foxboro and watch.. The media wrote us off against Indy, and ESPN covered more time on Jessica SImpson the CHargers. Hope its a good game. Off to the Beach!

I've observed lately that your defensive play is the 'weak sister' on this team. Also, your special teams aren't very special either. You come into this game lacking in those 2 phases of the game. Basically, you're a 'one trick pony'.
