Bill's take
FOXBOROUGH -- Patriots coach Bill Belichick held his Friday press conference (10:50 a.m.) and opened by detailing the team's schedule:
"We're plugging along. The Giants are a tough team to get ready for, as they do a lot of things well. It's probably one of those games that if we had a month to get ready for them, we'd still be working on them. But we have a schedule and we're going to pace our way through it, and try to do the best we can. We're underway. It was good to get out on the field yesterday, and we'll get a couple more days here before we take off on Sunday."
The second question asked was if Tom Brady would practice today.
"We'll see," Belichick said. "We'll let you know after practice."
There was a light moment at the end of the press conference, as a team official indicated there was one final question to be asked.
When a reporter tried to ask a second question -- specifically about Brady -- a smiling Belichick turned and said: "Wasn't that the last question?"
He then walked off the podium.

Talk about beating your head against a rock, does anyone in the press room actually believe BB is going to talk about injuries nearly a week before he has too? Either they're new on the scene and missed the last five years or they just like to set themselves up for failure...geeze
I hope Colvin gets some props at the SB...
