Boger gets call

Posted by Mike Reiss, Globe Staff January 11, 2008 12:27 PM

Jerome Boger's crew has been assigned to officiate Saturday night's divisional playoff game between the Patriots and Jaguars.

Boger's crew worked two Patriots games during the regular season -- at the Bengals (Oct. 1) and vs. the Jets (Dec. 16).

In the Patriots-Bengals game, the Patriots had three penalties and the Bengals eight. In the Patriots-Jets game, both teams were flagged for six accepted penalties.

Boger's crew worked one Jaguars game during the regular season -- vs. the Raiders (Dec. 23). The Jaguars were flagged for six penalties in that game, the Raiders 11.

FRIDAY OUTLOOK: There is no media access today at Gillette Stadium, as preparations wind down for Saturday night's game against the Jaguars.
