Eli Manning has the reputation of being an easy-going guy and he showed it in his first Super Bowl press conference, answering questions in an amiable, even tone.
He said he talks to his brother Peyton, quarterback of the Colts, once or twice a week and last week asked him about what to expect at the Super Bowl. "I usually talk to Peyton once or twice a week so it won't be advice or it won't be so much football talk," he said.
He also said his father, Archie, "was enjoying this as much as we are. Having never played in the playoffs, this is sort of his Super Bowls." Peyton Manning won the Super Bowl last season with the Colts while Archie played 14 NFL seasons without reaching the playoffs.
Eli rejected the idea that reaching the Super Bowl was vindication for criticism he's received during his four-year career. "The goal is not to get to the Super Bowl, the goal is to win the Super Bowl."

You mean payton played for the colts when they won the SB. not payton won. if I remember right it was the TRADER that kicked them through baltimore
