Junior arrives early

FOXBOROUGH -- Junior Seau has earned the reputation as one of the hardest workers on the Patriots. One of his closest friends, Rodney Harrison, painted a picture of Seau's commitment while speaking with reporters today.

"Yesterday, I couldn't sleep. I was up around 5 and got here maybe around 5:45, 6 o'clock and Junior was here already," Harrison said. "That just shows he's not taking anything for granted. He knows this is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. He walked away from the game. He came back. He got hurt last year. Now he's taking advantage of it and making the most of it."

What was Seau doing at the stadium so early?

"Lifting weights, watching film, getting a cold tub, a hot tub, massage, extra film," Harrison said. "He's something special. You look at him and you can say 'Junior Seau is 38 years old.' But the way he walks around, the way he practices, it's like he's 28 years old."

  1. I think it is equally interesting that Harrison was there at 6AM the same dedication.

  1. I have said for the past two season...."JUNIOR MUST GET HIS RING"

Then he can join the likes of Corey Dillon and Rodney Harrison, both of who were not understood when all they really wanted to be was a WINNER.

I hope and pray that Junior gets what he deserves. I can't wait to see him following the Super Bowl victory.
