Locker room scene

Posted by Mike Reiss, Globe Staff January 24, 2008 11:54 AM

FOXBOROUGH -- The locker room was packed today at Gillette Stadium.

S Rodney Harrison, LB Junior Seau, WR Wes Welker, DL Jarvis Green, FB Heath Evans, CB Ellis Hobbs and RB Kevin Faulk were a few players drawing large crowds. DL Richard Seymour and LB Mike Vrabel also answered questions after their press conferences.

There was no sighting of QB Tom Brady.

Players were asked quite a few questions on Brady. One response that stood out came from Seymour, who was asked his thoughts when he saw pictures of Brady walking in New York with a protective brace over his right foot.

"Every channel I turned to, there it was, magnifying in on the boot," Seymour said. "To me, the good part was the flowers. I wasn't in on the boot."

Seymour joked that he came home with flowers for his wife after seeing photos of Brady.

Evans also answered with a bit of humor when asked about Brady.

"I'm going to put on a boot and see if you all follow me around," he cracked.

Players were dressing in full pads for today's practice, which will be held inside the Dana-Farber Field House.

  1. Mike, did you ask Seymour about the phantom headbutt? Might he decide to show more restraint in a similar situation next time? There was no contact but it still looks childish.

  1. Harrison, Seymour and Vrabel and I suspect Light was there too. Now there's a room that would actually be classed UP if OJ showed up. Was Moss there or was he off attacking a woman in the parking lot? What a bunch of low life cheating trash.
