McDaniels statement
Patriots offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels released the following statement tonight:
"I am very grateful for the chance to interview for NFL head coaching positions but I have decided not to pursue those opportunities at this time. I plan to focus all my attention on our postseason preparation."

He worded that in a very good manner, saying he wont pursue the opportunities AT THIS TIME, but then said he will focus all of his attention on post season preparation. He never indicated what he may, or may not do, after the post season. This kid might be a good politician some day, talking in circles and saying nothing.
Good for Josh! Go Pats!
Whether or not he will pursue the opportunities after the postseason is his right. I am happy with his statement. He seems to be another Theo in the making.
Amen.
Sounds like a Belichik decphile to me guys.
Knows what to say and not tip his hat at the same time,
Get in there, study and prepare to rip up the next opponents defence McDaniels.
Thats your job.
One thing's for sure: he's not another Mangini-in-the-making, and that's a good thing. Stick around for a bit, Josh....things are going well here, ya know? You're 31 and there'll be another time to seek a headcoaching position when your team isn't 16-0 and headed into the postseason...
Besides, who really wants to coach the Falcons. or the Ravens.. That's just begging for failure... Being the OC for the Pats and Mr. Brady is sooooooooooooooooo much more fulfilling!!
