More on Brady
The father of Patriots QB Tom Brady was interviewed on 1050 ESPN radio in New York today. Tom Brady Sr. said that if the ankle injury was serious, Brady would have spoken to him about it. He also said there is no doubt Brady will play.
"If he had to go out there with two crutches and a cast on each leg, he is playing. He won't voluntarily walk off the field. He would have to have a couple of casts on his legs and couple of casts on his arms to prevent him from going out there. Anybody that thinks a little tweak is going to stop [him] is just wasting ink."
I know it's his dad, but when was the last time Brady had a serious injury? Is Dad really sure Tom would've said something? Or is he basing it on the fact that Tom's never talked to him about his shoulder?

I think people look at the sholder thing the wrong way.if a player does not pratice and is held out due to rest his body or in a QB case shoulder then it is against NFL rule to hide this.they have to list this on the injury report or else it can used by NFL to fine the pats.
The Patriots are so closed-mouthed about injuries, and Brady has bought into that philosophy with the rest of them, so you gotta wonder why he wore the boot in public in NY. Some possible scenarios:
1) He forgot and didn't think about it. Unlikely.
2) He did this on purpose. Possible, but then why?
2a) As a way for all of us to see why his performance against SD was rather un-Brady-like. Unlikely.
2b) To create this media/fan uproar to divert attention away from his teammates (Moss, in particular, as one commenter already posted). Maybe.
2c) Brady and Belichick came up with this plan to mess with NY fans and media. That's my choice. Any other explanation would get BB very pissed off if he wasn't part of it and Brady's not like that.
Damn, I can't stand these two weeks. The anticipation is a killer and it makes us all a little nuts.

Brady would not have done any of this without Belichik knowing every detail about it.
Maybe, he thought he would not be seen and was caught wearing the boot and Belichik got a hold of him and suprise, suprise he is not wearing the boot anymore.
Either way, he will be fine and the Giants are doomed.
This is the second time around and Belichik now has some real game film to use and we all know how he prepares for teams the second time around.

The whole thing makes you feel sorry for Tony Romo. He gets a week off and flies to Cabo with a bimbo and catches all kinds of heck. Brady flies to New York to meet a bimbo and the flight from Boston to New York is about the same as from Cabo to Dallas and everyone's concerned about Brady's foot. And Romo didn't even abandon his kid in the process. Romo must wonder why he's so special. Oh well. I'm sure there's some very good reason why Brady would need a boot during the day but not at night.
The difference is Brady has earned the right not to have a night off questioned. Romo has choked twice now in the playoffs. I don't feel sorry for him. I think he will eventually win a game in the post season, just as Eli (and even Payton) has. In the glare of the spotlight, who has responded better, Brady or Romo?

Last time I checked NY was in between Bos & Phx. Brady's kid is in LA wacko. You don't see Brady's gal at every game trying to get additional pub for herself. JS is a dingbat sucubis who will draw the life out of Romo.
You know how Romo could have avoided the whole thing???
