Randy Moss on Plaxico

Posted by Mike Reiss, Globe Staff January 30, 2008 01:54 PM

SCOTTSDALE -- One more leftover from Randy Moss' press conference this morning:

He was asked his thoughts on Plaxico Burress predicting a 23-17 Super Bowl win for the Giants.

"He's entitled to say anything, but the only thing about a prediction is that you have got to make it happen," Moss replied. "I think the pressure is more on them now since they've guaranteed this victory. We're going to go out there and try to execute a game-plan. We've prepared very hard for the last week and a half and we still have got a couple more days to get out there and tone some things up, but making a prediction that you are going to go out there and make it happen are very tough words to back up. So like I said, we'll see when the game clock is zero on Sunday."

  1. Randy Moss has been much more than everyone I know expected. Love his attitude, his intelligence and talent. A year ago I would have bet my house I wouldn't feel that way ever. He's a classy Patriot and has made this a much better team. Great comment and yeah, he's got the right situation to make a difference on Sunday.

  1. Thank you and your mouth Mr. Burress. The locker room needed something to post on the wall.
