Headed to Combine

Posted by Mike Reiss, Globe Staff February 20, 2008 06:45 AM

Today is a travel day to Indianapolis, where the NFL combine is being held.

The combine is where draft prospects work out and interview for NFL clubs, and the plan will be to file updates through Monday on all the league chatter from Indianapolis.

  1. Given Belichick's penchant for looking for the undervalued player who may be overlooked by others, how about 6'6 260 DE/OLB Vince Redd.

Has a very long reach (wingspan) and will be undervalued due to small school. Could be the kind of inexpensive pick-up in a later round that the Pats routinely look for.
