Initial thoughts

Through the first quarter and one play in the second quarter, there has been one possession for each team.

That means both clubs are having success on third down, extending drives.

The difference to this point is the red zone, where the Patriots stopped the Giants. On the flip side, the Patriots cashed in with a touchdown on their red-zone trip, with a big play coming when Benjamin Watson drew a pass interference penalty in the end zone.
