PHOENIX -- One of the first questions asked to Andre Tippett was if his Hall of Fame induction might be a good omen for the Patriots in Super Bowl XLII.
“I’d like to think so," he said. "I’ve gotten a ton of text messages from Vrabel and Brady and a couple of the other guys, and I ran into a couple of the other guys in the team hotel. Everybody, from Day 1 that we got here, said we’re looking to do something special – you on Saturday and us on Sunday. It couldn’t have happened at a better time.”
