Paxton: 1-year deal

The Patriots have re-signed long snapper Lonie Paxton to a one-year deal, according to NFL.com.

The move was expected as Paxton had made it a priority to stay with the Patriots. He enters his ninth season in 2008 and is considered one of the league's top snappers.

  1. YEAH!!!! I am thrilled to hear Lonie is staying with the Patriots! He does so much for the community and such a truly good hearted man!
