Slaughter: 1-year deal

Posted by Mike Reiss, Globe Staff February 12, 2008 03:21 PM

Following up on the Patriots' signing of LB T.J. Slaughter, the contract is a one-year package for the minimum $730,000. There is no signing bonus, which qualifies the deal for the veteran minimum benefit and means Slaughter's salary cap charge is $451,720.

  1. Listen I know the season is over Mike but we have to get you something to write about man! Getting through the work day without football updates from you is just plain painful ok? So i dont care if you just just write about what you think they might do or whatever but please for the love of football! just write! When i come to the web site after 5 hours of not checking and it has the same thing as it had 5 hours earlier it just kills me!
