    1. Mike-
Early in the game one of the Giants players looked like he fumbled but the refs ruled down. It looked like the ball was out before he or his knee hit the ground. Why didn't the Pats ask for a review of that play?

    1. One would suppose that after all the flapping, yelling and howling about how the Pats were going to go 19-0, how they were going to kick the Giants butt, the bottom line is they went 18-1 and lost the most important game of all.

It was this play in the first Giants series of the game:
3rd-5, NYG28 13:32 E. Manning passed to P. Burress down the middle for 14 yard gain

    1. I am neither a Pats fan nor a Giants fan so my comments are comming from someone who is neutral. Brady didn't lose this game. He WAS playing on a bum ankle and never used it as an excuse. But you can see many of his throws were short as he was unable to push off and he lacked his usual lateral mobility in the pocket. The Giants led the league in sacks, so their D getting after Brady was not a new development. Blame the coaches for not doing a better job of game planning for the leagues best pass rushing unit. My personal opinion is that the Pats were out coached on both sides of the ball and while the Pats did stop the giants run game, they never sacked Eli. When the game was on the line, the Giants made the big play and the Pats couldn't stop them. Brady did his part by giving the Pats the lead in the fourth quarter. The Pats D could stop the G-men whaen it counted.

    1. What about Wes Welker's record for most receptions in a Super Bowl?
