Mike Wright re-signs

Glad to hear this. Wright is a hard working, solid defensive player. Happy to have him back for next season.

Good re-signing. Mike is an above avreage defensive lineman with the potential to step it up this season with some extra playing time. I think he could make a bigger impact playing end rather than nose tackle because of his smaller sizeand quickness, by smaller I mean under 300lbs . He could be the pass rushing lineman we've been looking for. As we all saw what the Giants did to us, having someone in the face of the opposing quatertback makes everyones job on the defensive side of the ball easier.

I like him at LE, but I think they're going to have to develop some talent at NT pretty soon. Next year he'll be a UFA. And if Wilfork goes down, I don't think that Wright is the guy for the job for any extended period of time. Who knows where they stand with LeKevin...?
