Owners meeting on tap
NFL owners begin arriving in Palm Beach, Fla., today and the league's annual meeting officially begins Monday at 9 a.m.
The plan will be to post updates from the meetings.
From a Patriots perspective, as of last Wednesday, coach Bill Belichick was scheduled to be in attendance at the meeting. Of the league's 32 head coaches, only Seattle's Mike Holmgren is not exepcted to attend.
Several rule change proposals are on the agenda, and some of the more notable proposals are detailed in this week's Boston Globe Sunday Football Notes. The words "intergrity of the game" and "fair competition" are also expected to be hot topics.
