Owners meeting feel

Posted by Mike Reiss, Globe Staff March 30, 2008 05:02 PM

PALM BEACH, Fla., -- The NFL owners meeting officially starts Monday at 9 a.m., but most league personnel are arriving at The Breakers today.

A few committees did meet today -- the competition committee (1 p.m.), compensation commitee (2 p.m.) and finance commitee (3 p.m.). Patriots chairman and CEO Robert Kraft is a member of the compensation and finance committees, so he got an early jump on the proceedings.

In all, Kraft is a member of six NFL committees, which also includes the broadcast committee, NFL Network operations committee, investment committee, and management council executive committee.

Commissioner Roger Goodell gives his annual report to clubs at 9 a.m. Monday.

  1. I will give my report on Goodell later. He needs to be fired, BTW.
