Salary cap check

As of last Thursday, the Patriots have $10.8 million in salary cap space, according to this report from Jason Cole of Yahoo! Sports.

Of the league's 32 teams, the Patriots are 21st in terms of cap space.

I'm guessing that a little less than half of this will go toward signing draft picks, barring any trades.
