Super Bowl odds

Posted by Mike Reiss, Globe Staff March 12, 2008 08:15 AM

As the Detroit Free Press points out, the Patriots are currently favored to win Super Bowl XLIII. Latest Las Vegas odds, put out by Bodog Sportsbook, have the Patriots at 10/3 odds.

The Colts, at 7/1 odds, are next in line.

The defending champion Giants are at 14/1 odds for a repeat.

  1. when all the dust settles from this Walsh, spygate, moss restraining order & basic Hatriot bull-crap - I see New England going on an all out mission of league payback next year...and 19 - 0 is looking very real!

Like Randy said - there's unfinished business to take care of & I believe it will be.

  1. I can't see 19-0. That is gonna be something that may never be attained in all of the rest of NFL history. The Pats had their chance... BUT, I still can see them making it to Tampa Bay for Super Bowl XLIII.

They were pissed last season, and I think, as Randy Moss put it, they have "unfinished business."

The key will not be the defense, IMO, the key will be in the hands of Josh McDaniels, who totally crapped the bed in the 2nd half of the season and then in the Super Bow.. XLII should have been in the Pats total control in the 2nd quarter.

Next season, the Pats will be, ON A MISSION.

  1. The Pats* DO have the easiest schedule in the league next year. Another run at being undefeated is possible. Don't get me wrong, I hate the Pats* but the scheduling gods are looking out for them.
