All-time draft steals & busts
In anticipation of next weekend's draft ESPN.com looks back at the Top 50 draft steals and the Top 50 draft busts.
Three players who were either drafted by the Patriots, or currently play for them, are on the "steals" lists. There are no Patriots draft picks on the "busts" list.
Steals
1) QB Tom Brady (6th round, 2000)
10) S Rodney Harrison (5th round, 1994)
47) WR Troy Brown (8th round, 1993)

Chung, Eugene
Glick beat me to it. How can Eugene is such a bust that he cannot even make it into the biggest bust list.
How about Chris Canty, a first round pick who then GM Bobby Grier justified as a nickel-back! A first round pick for a nickel back, huh? I guess he was picking for need that year...
Curtis Martin was a 3rd rounder, he definatly played at a higher level than that.
What about Hart Lee Dykes and Andy Katzenmoyer
Chung was the first one that came to my mind, too.
Chris Canty??????
Ken Sims????
And the very first one.... in 1960 Gerhard Schwedes
Jack Concannon (AFL)
Hart Lee Dykes
Hart Lee Dykes
Chris Canty and Hart Lee Dykes comes to mind too
Kens Sims (1st overall) and Lester Williams (27th overall) in the same year
Chris Singleton (8th overall) FYI that 90 Draft went 1. J. George 2. Blair Thomas and 4. K. McCants...may be the worst start to a draft ever
What about Curtis Martin in the 3rd round? Definitely a steal, too bad they let him walk to the Jets....
at least with eugene chung it's hilarious in retrospect
Klemm comes to mind as a Pats bust. I remember saying "this is gonna be Klemm's year!" at the beginning of every season... and then he'd get hurt.
For more recent busts, we've got Bethel. And we may be adding Chad Jackson to the list pretty soon, although I'm still holding out hope. This is gonna be Jackson's year!
Ken Sims 1-15 the next season nuff said!!!
Ken Sims - huge bust
