Faulk makes his pitch
BROCKTON – For the second year in a row, Patriots running back Kevin Faulk is ready to swing away.
Faulk held a 1 p.m. press conference today Campanelli Stadium in Brockton, promoting the second-annual Kevin Faulk Celebrity Softball Game to benefit the United Way (Saturday, May 17).
Last year’s game had teammates Tedy Bruschi, Vince Wilfork, Wes Welker, Benjamin Watson, Ellis Hobbs and Laurence Maroney participating, and Faulk expects a similar turnout this year. He’s already received one commitment – from Wilfork.
“[We] went on vacation together with our wives, and that’s all he’s been talking about,” Faulk said. “Big Papi – that’s his name.”
As for football, Faulk has been participating in the Patriots’ offseason program the last two weeks. He said it took him about a week to stop thinking about the Super Bowl loss, and now he’s moving forward, setting new goals.
“Obviously, we didn’t play our best football that day and the best team won; that’s how you have to look at it,” he said. “The best thing about it is that you get to come back next year and try to do it again.”

Good to see Patriots out in the community doing positive things
Good to see Faulk is moving on from the SB (I'm still working on that one)
Looking forward to another good season from Faulk coming up.
How can you not like this guy
Kevin Faulk is all anyone could ask for when trying to explain the "Patriots way".
It is guys like him, Bruschi, Troy Brown, Brady, Seymour & Wilfork to name a few that are true Patriots.
