Owners meeting feel

ATLANTA -- Welcome to Atlanta, where NFL owners are gathering today and tomorrow for the 2008 Spring Adjourned Meeting. The meeting is being held at the Ritz-Carlton (Buckhead) Hotel.

This is a pretty standard meeting, with one of the key items to decide the host of the 2012 Super Bowl. Arizona, Houston and Indianapolis are the candidates.

For those curious as to what happens at meetings like these, here is today's schedule:

  • 1 p.m. -- Audit Committee
    (Chairman Arthur Blank, Bud Adams, Tom Benson, Bob McNair, John York)

  • 1 p.m. -- Super Bowl Advisory Committee
    (Chairman Mike McCaskey, Katie Blackburn, Bob Harlan, Jim Irsay, Jeffrey Lurie, Mary Owen, Art Rooney II, Jonathan Tisch)

  • 3 p.m. -- Investment Committee
    (Chairman Bob McNair, Woody Johnson, Robert Kraft, Wayne Weaver, Mark Wilf)

  • 4 p.m. -- Competition Committee
    (Co-chairman Jeff Fisher, co-chairman Rich McKay, Marvin Lewis, John Mara, Matt Millen, Ozzie Newsome, Bill Polian, Mark Richardson)

  • 4 p.m. -- Legislative Committee
    (Chairman Jim Irsay, Bud Adams, Arthur Blank, Woody Johnson, Art Rooney II, Dean Spanos, Zygi Wilf)
