A look at some Patriots articles from around the country:

  • In an editorial, the Altoona Mirror is critical of Pennsylvania Senator Arlen Specter for spending his time and resources on the Patriots' videotaping procedures. The Reading Eagle agrees.

  • Former Patriots quarterback Scott Zolak returns to his roots and shares some thoughts on the Patriots' videotaping with the Monessen Valley Independent (Pa.).

  • In the Boston Globe, receiver Wes Welker talks about how his soccer background has helped him on the football field. Now, fellow receiver Randy Moss is using soccer-specific drills in his offseason training.

  • Tight end Fred Baxter, who was a member of the Patriots' Super Bowl XXXVIII championship team and later completed a coaching internship with the club, is looking to get into high school coaching, the Troy Messenger reports.

    1. Being born and raised in Everett, MA for 25 years and now living in PA, I am happy to see how many other Pennsylvanian's also think Senator Spector is acting inappropriately with his involvement in the 'Spygate' story. I was thrilled to see the editorial in my local paper, the Reading Eagle, today that you referenced. Enough is enough. The state of PA and the county have enough problems that need attention.

      Go Pats!
