Barry Sims to visit Patriots
The Patriots will entertain free-agent offensive lineman Barry Sims on a visit at Gillette Stadium tomorrow.
The visit was reported by the Sacramento Bee and confirmed this morning with Sims's agent, Ken Vierra.
The Patriots seem to be interested in adding to their offensive line. As noted by ESPN.com's "Hashmarks" blog, the league average is 14 linemen per club and the Patriots are currently right at that number. But with guard Stephen Neal and tackle Oliver Ross not taking part in on-field work at the weekend's mandatory mini-camp as they rehabilitate from injuries, the team's numbers are down a bit.
Sims met with the 49ers, and after his trip to New England he is scheduled to meet with the Ravens and Rams.

Good to see an old Claymore visiting the Pats!
Lots of tackles they're bringing in.
Another insurance policy in case Kaczur gets suspended or God forbid he gets cut.
Do we really want Raiders o-line rejects? correct me if I'm wrong but the Raiders haven't exactly been that great....although their rushing game has actually been OK, I guess.
