Kraft congratulates Celtics
As noted in Boston.com's Celtics blog, Patriots chairman & CEO Robert Kraft took out a full-page advertisement in today's Boston Globe to congratulate the Celtics on winning the NBA championship.
Here is a snapshot of the advertisement, which reads: "Congratulations to the entire Boston Celtics organization!" The advertisement includes the Celtics logo and the words: "2008 World Champions."

Just all around classy...we've come to expect no less.
That advertisement was paid for by the increase in season ticket prices.
Yup thanks to the celtics helping to mend that awful superbowl wound
Although I find the gesture pleasant, but it always intrigues me as to why we call the championship winners as world champions. Shouldn't it be NBA champions, NFL champions, MLB champions and so on. World champions is pretty much a stretch IMHO. Regardless, congrats to the Celtics, a well-deserved title after putting up such an impressive season in the books.
Mr. kraft just has so much class......No wonder everyone is jealous of the pats, It all starts at the top. No worries, Im sure the owner of the celts will return the favor after the pats win the title this year. Go PAts! Congrats Celts. Hope Paul Pierce doesn't get sick smoking that cigar...........
I think what even says more about Bob Kraft is he also took out a full page ad in the "other" paper across town tthat broke the WALKTHROUGH STORY. Personally, I would not give that paper the time of day but that is not who Bob Kraft is.
You gotta wonder if the Pats hold off that last drive, we would have Sox parade, Pats parade, and Celts parade............it's only a wonder now.
