Mruczkowski signs

Offensive lineman Gene Mruczkowski was present at today's Patriots mini-camp practice, with the team confirming that he's been re-signed to an undisclosed contract.

Mruczkowski, who spent last season with the Dolphins, plays center and guard. He first joined the Patriots in 2003 and has been on and off the roster numerous times, appearing in a total of 18 regular-season games and four playoff contests.

Today is Mruczkowski's birthday. He turns 28.
