Morning practice closed to public

Posted by Mike Reiss, Globe Staff July 24, 2008 07:12 AM

Due to weather in the region, the Patriots have moved their morning practice (8:45 a.m.) on the first day of training camp inside the Dana-Farber Field House. That means the practice is now closed to the public.

The club plans to conduct its 5:30 p.m. practice indoors as well -- meaning that is also closed to the public. The 5:30 p.m. practice could potentially be moved back outside if the weather and field conditions permit.

The team will continue to update its website (Patriots.com) and hotline (508-549-0001) with the latest information.
