Patriots have the power
ESPN.com unveils its "training camp" power rankings today, with eight writers casting votes, and the Patriots are in the No. 1 spot.
In a detailed breakdown, there is also a chart showing how each writer voted.
Furthermore, a look at the NFC West blog on ESPN.com has an entry showing the teams in which voters graded with the most disparity. The Patriots also stood out in that chart, as the team's highest ranking from an individual voter was No. 1, while the lowest was No. 3. That gave them a "disparity" grade of 2, smallest in the league.

Mike Reiss and Christopher L. Gasper provide regular updates -- and a
behind the scenes look -- on the daily happenings of the Patriots.

I still have an unfavorable opinion of ESPN and its affiliates after they successfully fanned the flames of ignorant Patriot (and Boston sports) bashing for well over a year.
I do not know why Boston.com is promoting ESPN, but after the Patriot organization and fans endured the back hand of unmeasurable amounts of yellow journalism from ESPN, I feel Boston.com's effort to advertise ESPN is deplorable.
