Pats sign Bauta
The Patriots announced the signing of free-agent offensive lineman Lavdrim Bauta today. Terms of the agreement were undisclosed.
The signing of Bauta gives the Patriots 80 players on the current roster, putting them at the league limit (number includes unsigned rookies Jerod Mayo and Terrence Wheatley).
A bit from the team's press release:
Bauta, 24, was a three-year letterman for Duke before transferring to Villanova for his final collegiate season in 2006. As a senior with Villanova in 2006, Bauta started 10 games at right tackle. In 2005, Bauta started all 11 games at tackle for Duke while also being named to the ACC All-Academic Team.

he transferred from Duke to Villanova. did he ever win a game in college?
yea he did. do you even know how to play football?
did you ever win a game in college scott?
The Globe today said there were 79 players signed? According to this there is 80. I think it is 79.
Are they leaving a spot open of Law or Seau?
Hi John. The Patriots aren't making room for Seau/Law at this time. Technically, they have 80 players if you count first-round pick Jerod Mayo, who has yet to sign. So it's just a matter of if we want to count Mayo on the roster at this point, even though he hasn't officially signed.

suzy??
My question is, with the name suzy...DO YOU know how to play football? Or more importantly, do you have the right to question others when I would guess your experience is minimal....(unless you play womens football, and lets be honest, that isnt EXACTLY what most would consider experienced).
I thought Scott's question was pretty legit....not exactly two college football powerhouses.....lol
