After tonight's preseason game, Patriots coach Bill Belichick sought out Eagles cornerback Asante Samuel and the two shared an embrace on the field.

  1. Belichick is genius! why hold a grudge like some coaches when the player might be resigned down the road? Belichick is planning years into the future even in post-game socializing!! Notice how he always seeks out good players that would fit the pats system? Now that Jet's coach post-game cold shoulder is another story...backstabber!

  1. It is obvious that the same approach worked for Randy Moss back in 2005.

BB was very positive and sociable with Moss after the season opener against the Raiders in Foxboro. He also said good things about him in the postgame press conference.

Two years later, Moss works with BB and Pioli to get himself here from Oakland instead of to Green Bay or somewhere else.

    Good observation, Erik!
