Tomorrow night's preseason game against the Eagles will mark the 18th time the Patriots have faced Philadelphia in the preseason.

That makes the Eagles the second most common preseason opponent for New England. The only team the Patriots have played more often in the preseason is the Washington Redskins (19 times).

Most frequent preseason opponents

  • Washington Redskins -- 19
  • Philadelphia Eagles -- 17*
  • New York Giants -- 17*
  • Green Bay Packers -- 13
  • Buffalo Bills -- 13

    * not including this year's preseason games.
