Following Tippett in Canton

CANTON, Ohio -- With Patriots great Andre Tippett set to be enshrined in the Pro Football Hall of Fame this weekend, the plan will be to post updates here on Tippett's experience.

Back home, with the Patriots conducting afternoon practices on Saturday (closed to the public) and Sunday (open to the public), colleague Christopher Gasper will provide updates from the practice field. The Patriots are not practicing today.

Here is how today looks for Tippett:

  • 3:30-4:30 p.m. -- Class of 2008 press conference
  • 6:30 p.m. -- Enshrinees dinner

    From 2:30-3:30 p.m., there will be a press conference with returning Hall of Famers, a group that is expected to include Joe Gibbs, John Hannah, Anthony Muņoz and Thurman Thomas, among others.

    1. Now that John Lynch has been released by Denver, do you think the Patriots will pick him up? I think it would benefit their secondary.
