Light, Brady present at practice

Posted by Mike Reiss, Globe Staff August 25, 2008 12:56 PM

FOXBOROUGH -- The Patriots are holding their afternoon practice on the lower field behind Gillette Stadium, and one of the first things that stood out was left tackle Matt Light's return to on-field workouts.

Light has not been seen at a non-walkthrough practice since the opening week of training camp. The offensive line, which has been hit with a string of injuries, has been one of the team's most pressing issues.

Quarterback Tom Brady, who is nursing a sore right foot, is also present for this practice, which is being held in shorts and light shoulder pads (shells).
