Media guide nuggets

The Patriots' media relations staff annually produces a fact-filled media guide packed with information on the team, and it often reflects some behind-the-scenes changes from the previous year.

A few nuggets of note:

Don Davis, who served an an assistant strength and conditioning coach in 2007, is no longer listed among the team's coaches. A former linebacker who transitioned into coaching last season, Davis has left the club to pursue the ministry.

A regional scout in 2007, Jon Robinson is now the assistant director/college scouting.

A regional scout in 2007, Bob Quinn is now the team's national scout.

Brian Flores (formerly a scout) and Shane Waldron (a graduate assistant at Notre Dame the last three years) are new additions to the coaching staff, with the official title of "coaching assistant".

Kevin Bickers, formerly a coaching assistant, is now a special assignment scout.

A scouting assistant in 2007, DuJuan Daniels is now an area scout.

Michael Disner and Brian Ferentz have joined the team as scouting assistants.
