Patriots roster moves
The Patriots made the following roster moves today:
Players placed on injured reserve, ending their season:
Players placed on reserve/non-football injury list
Players released:
The big surprise is the release of Fernando Bryant, who went wire to wire as a starter at cornerback. Other surprises: WR Ray Ventrone, WR C.J. Jones, TE Stephen Spach, and CB Lewis Sanders making the club.
The plan is to pen a story for tomorrow's Boston Globe and be back with some analysis a bit later.

Cassel is still on the team? Are you kidding me
was hobson having that hard a time picking up the defense..richardson just couldnt stay on the field..I cant believe Cassel is still here.I hope they get some DBs and a QB off the wired today especially with Bryant not panning out
cassel made it?!
Could these cuts to CB and LB be cost savings enough to pony up for our beloved Ty Law to indeed be our opening day starter? I sure hope someone else is coming aboard to play CB, but I'm not too surprised, Bryant has been picked apart all preseason long
how did bryant get cut?!??!?!?!? don't tell me they plan on starting lewis sanders or a rookie...and nice steal by putting ruud on IR. and why is redd cut? i hate to question scott and bill but cmon mike richardson and spann cut too?
That leaves very few cornerbacks. Is a Ty Law deal iminent?
Considering how thin they are at DB Bryant must have really done something they didnt like.Getting plowed in the 4th preseason game maybe
Why did they keep Cassel over Gutierrez?!?! That really puzzles me.
i agree about bryant, i'd say the big story is also gutierrez over cassel..
also, they kept 3 TEs by keeping stephen spach on the team.
By releasing Bryant (did he get run over Thursday night) & Richardson, might there be a Ty Law sighting in New England soon?
So who do we see starting opposite Ellis Hobbs now......Wheatley? Or does that mean Ty Law may be coming in?
Wow.
Why was Gutierrez released instead of Cassel? Somebody, PLEASE, explain why
Mike, you the man. I was trying to track down this info on other sites. You are the first to report it.
Word on the street, is they released bryant because they are going to sign Ty Law.
You did pretty well in your predictions. I thought CJ Jones would make it and he did. Don Connolly will most likely be cut when Faulk returns. Gutierrez was a surprise. And Fernando Bryant was a complete shock.
I guess Cassel made it because he didn't make any mistakes that were his fault. I can't see how they justify his not scoring a touchdown. Maybe he'll be cut along with someone else once Faulk returns. Then we can grab a veteran QB that has been cut. Tampa Bay has 5 QB's, keep an eye on that situation.
CB Lewis Sanders presence on the roster is likely short lived. He was kept as insurance against S Brandon Meriweather's injury, but my guess is that Lewis is gone when Kevin Faulk returns.
wouldn't the big surprise be that Gutierrez was released? I would have kept him over Cassel.. I assume the Pats will hope he clears waivers and stays on the practice squad. I hope so too..
TY LAW TY LAW TY LAW
When will they now sign T Law?
I'm honestly not surprised to see WR C.J. Jones make the club, as he looked very good as a return man on special teams.
CB Fernando Bryant getting cut really surprised me, there must be more to this than we know (bad attitude) or BB just saw something he didn't like from him.
I think it was a sham LB Vince Redd didn't make the club. I hope he clears waivers and gets signed to the practice roster. Unfortunately I see the Jets or some other low life bottom feeder signing Redd.
I was surprised to see TE Stephen Spach make it, but I guess that really shouldn't come as a shock. BB has shown in the past that he always likes to roll with 3 TE. I could see the team pickup another tight end released by another team if BB thinks it would be an upgrade.
Last point... How did Matt Cassell make the club? Why not try to trade a late round pick for a Chris Simm or a Josh McCowan (Too late on the later I know) to have a more qualified veteran backup.
Mike who is going to play CB???? You????
Bill has lost his mind, or he's just showing he doesn't like to be dictated to by the fans. There's no other reason why Cassell is still on this team. Ugh! Maybe we should storm the castle and oust him ourselves.
WOW, Matt Cassel beat out Matt Gutierrez
I wonder if the Fernando Bryant cut signal that we are close to signing Ty Law?
I am shocked that Gutierrez was cut in favor of Cassel.
WOW! Bryant out! I guess that play in the Giants game sealed his fate. Also Ray Ventrone and C.J. Jones making the club I'm stunned!
Explain to me how you do not cut matt Cassell ???? Anyone have any answers
Ok, why the heck did the PATs keep Cassel? The good news is that they are keeping almost all the younger guys, although Vince Redd is a tough cut!
BenJarvus Green-Ellis looked pretty good and Victor Hobson, I was really counting on him. ....
Really disappointed that neither Welbourn or Flynn, as former high caliber linemen, could stick with the depth issues on the o-line.
thats alright ICANT BELIVE Fernando Bryant got cut!!
thats alright but i cant belive Fernando Bryant got cut
Is the release of Bryant and Hobson freeing up cap room to bring in Ty Law?
hey mike im real concerned about the secondary now.we have hobbs who is good, but not great.probably wheatly will be the other starter.he has never played a snap in a real game season.we thought we got sliced, and diced in the pre-season! they really do need ty law now,or need to make a trade for lito sheppard,or someone.
Why did they release Gutierrez, Hobson or Bryant? Why did they keep cassel?
Are you kidding me? Cassel is still around!!! I'm convinced he has pictures of BB in order to stay on the roster. What a waste of a roster position!!!! And Bryant sealed his fate by being carried into the end zone on the first Giants TD. Watch for the extremely weak Pats secondary to give up big yards this year. On the plus side, glad that Ventrone made it - he showed good hustle thruout camp.
how can they keep Matt Cassell, this guy stinks and cannot move the team. He must have something on BB. We're in deep trouble if Brady gets hurt!!!
WOW! The Pats have to have something up their sleeve at cornerback (trade?). They can't feel good about the current class of CB's going into the season with the release of Fernando Bryant today.
Wow! Gutierrez got cut but Cassel made it? Cassel looks horrible every time I have seen him play but yet he keeps making the club. I don't get it but then I am not BB. :)
With Fernando Bryant being released and the secondary in question.....Does this mean that we may see a signing of Ty Law or some vet corner?
Simms just got cut by the Bucs..Hank Poteat got cut by the Jets so did Matt chatham..We are so thin at DB right now it is scary..Bryant really had to have sucked to been cut
Disappointed to see Cassel stay & Guitierrez get cut. But there are likely some moves to come. It'll be interesting to see what those are. Hopefully, they've got the right guys ready for the real season, not the pre-season. Gotta give BB & Pioli the benefit of the doubt until proven otherwise.
"Why not try to trade a late round pick for a Chris Simm..."
i'd honestly rather have cassel than simms any day. i live down in orlando and have seen my fair share of tampa games and i was not impressed with him at all.
i think you have to look at the porous o-line and the dropped passes of when cassel was in there in the preseason.
i'm not worried about our CBs...we did fine in the super bowl years with average CBs...i think with mayo in there and AD on the outside this year and seymore and the rest of the d-line healthy, that will put enough pressure on the opposing QBs. i think the rookie CBs will get better throughout the year, and the latter games are obviously more important than the earlier games.
I'm no longer a Patriots fan since Cassel is still on this team. Belichick has no idea WTF he is doing! What a bum of a coach. No wonder they lost a game last year! Backup QB is more important than normal QB and I think we're screwed with this bum on the bench.
Is Cassel related to the Krafts? What a dumb decision!
I went to the first pre-season game and
Lewis Sanders was the best corner on the field that night.
Guutz has practice squad eligibility plus it's only his 2nd year in the system I believe. He's not ready for #2 status. He did not help his case against Giants. Practice squad hopefully.
Cassell IS the reigning backup. It was his job to lose and he didn't light it up but he was efficient and you don't usually look for a backup to pick the team up and put it on his shoulders as much and man the post until the starter returns. The O ran completely vanilla and was predictable all preseason by design. How many dropped balls by WR's, fumbles by RB's and balls snapped over head by center actually stalled drives for Cassell. Trying to look on the positive side and hope for the best.
They have 4 CB's now. I thought L Sanders looked decent in preseason and don't forget Meriweather (how ever you spell his name) can play there also. Also if what Mike wrote about guaranteed salaries is true for veterans based on when they sign to the active roster they might be trying to guard against guaranteeing veteran minimum salaries in case a guy gets injured. We all know you need to leave some cap space for mid season injuries when you have to sign someone off the street.
Spach doesn't suprise me because they always seemed to need a blocking TE in the past and from what I have seen last year and this year he blocks better than BW or DT.
Richardson, spann, redd, and ellis I would guess are hopefuls to clear waivers and make the practice squad.
I would be absolutely surprised though if this was anywhere near being finish though. Can you say scouring the waiver wire for OL depth.
So they cut Webster the other day, Bryant and Richardson today....so it looks like we have Hobbs, Wheatley, L. Sanders and Wilhite as our top 4 CB's? Something has to be in the works for someone else, like Ty...as always "In Bill we trust" but I'd be very surprised if we start the season with those 4.
Cassel still there? I don't get it, four games, no touchdowns. Four years practicing, and still couldn't get to the end zone. What are they looking at? I guess something we, the fans, don't see. My word. Gutierrez showed a lot of potential, but I'm not BB either, he must have ticked off somebody.
The Patriots as a TEAM have not looked good all pre-season, so stop making Cassel out to be the worst player in history. Belichick has won 3 Super Bowls as a head coach, I'll trust his judgment over the hyper-reaction on this board.
Let's just hope they play better once the real season starts.
Cassel makes the team because he is the only one besides Brady who knows the offense and he more or less did what the coaches asked even if the end results were pathetic. Brady said as much last week.
Gutierrez isn't going anywhere. He will make the practice squad and continue to develop.
The only way Cassel gets dropped now is if a veteran QB capable of running the offense like Flutie, Testaverde or Simms (Phil NOT Chris) becomes available.
Ty cant run faster than John Lynch. I dont thinks so
O'Connell is the backup...Ty Law and Matt Chatman should be back...lighten up they cut the bums
I guess I don't see why everyone is whining about the QB situation. Anyone else remember a few young backups look so good in preseason and yet not be decent Qbs? Also, some look poor in preseason and turn out to be OK. The coaches have seen a ton of Cassel, there has got to be a reason they have kept hm and thats enough for me.
As for Bryant..... Im not sure, but once the 53 is set for the Chiefs, I'll have more comment. My guess is that the coaches didn't see him as a starter and they like their reserves to be more well rounded. If you want to make the Pats, either be the starter AND/or be able to fill 2 or 3 roles on the team (ST, multiple positions...)
Bryant was a turnstile all preseason And just a reminder-there is the practice squad coming up. Dollares to doughnuts Redd will be there, along with Richardson, Spann, Ellis, Sene, DeVree and perhaps Gutierez
Great to see Bubba make the team. He's been doing it in ever phase of the game. If he gets the opportunities, Pats fans will fall in love with him. His special teams tackle after the Pats' final kickoff in the Superbowl should have given them the field position needed to win the game, if it weren't for the Manning/Tyree miracle. Glad to see Ventrone get recognized for all the hard work.
Wow! I`m going to try out at backup QB! If someone who sucks as bad as Cassel can stay on the club, I should have a shot. Cause I know I can suck just as bad as Cassel!!!!
I cannot believe we didn't cut cassel?? I hope Brady does not go down but if he does ....I say we throw the season and end up wit the # 1 pick (at least at that point it would be a no brainer
Roosey got cut by the Texans could that spell his return?? I hope so one last go around
and YES I want TY back and waiting in the distance in case anyone gets hurt Troy Brown...remember he has not retired yet either
Joey Harrington will be here bt Tuesday and Ty Law signed with Atlanta today
There can be no doubt that Brady is a fan of Cassel. Two Californian QBs, like a thoroughbred gets its stable mate; what Brady wants, Brady gets. Gutierrez was not very good anyway, watch no one will pick him up.
you guys gotta hope SOMEONE asks why they kept cassel - gotta be some non-evident reason. I am sure we'll find out soon.
I mean, I understand that Cassell was playing against a higher level of competition, but to win games you have to score points. Still, I'll bow to Belichick's wisdom on this one...
Pats fan 4 life go screw!
Matt Cassel was the right choice. Give that guy a game or two in the regular season and he would definitely find his groove. He seems more patient than Guit and has had more time in the system. You guys are fools to think that BB has made the wrong decision. Cassel wasn't even that bad in the preseason and they barely had any game plan. You all need to relax and have faith in our man BB, he lives and breaths football and does not give a flying F@#$ what we think is right and wrong. So whats our biggest concern? CB or O line?
If they kept Cassell, that must mean that O'Connell is going to be the number 2.
I really hope Ty Law is coming to town..He does still live in Sharon so it makes sense..He has to be better than what we have..Still cant believe Cassel made it.
I was expecting that Bill & company would cut that wimp RB Marone and QB Cassel.
Well I got 50%!!!!
This might be a dumb question, but it was the only explanation I could think of, why they would keep Cassel over Gutierrez. Could Gootz still have any practice squad eligibility? (I mean, C.J. was on it for a couple years!)
And, could they be planning to trade Cassel? Is that even a possibility?
Otherwise, I feel like I'm livin' in the Twilight Zone !
What is wrong here, Law is a has been. Needs to retire.
ya bb has no idea, you people really are moronic.
Cassel, my socceer team girls could run the offense better!
Bill, what ######
Joey Harrington will be here on Tuesday and Ty Law already signed with Atlanta today.
Cassell is there because BB thinks he should be. Those of you complaining about this obviously are not the coach.
KInda bizarro that a dude with Pats Fan 4 Li"v"e would come and post that he is no longer a fan...
Obviously F.Bryant being steamrolled was too much to accept. Isn't there a BB quote that mentions "don't give me someone who can't tackle ? What would I do with him ?"
Secondly, let's not forget that fans are going crazy about a backup ! A backup ! I feel like going on an Allen Iverson type rant about "practice" except make it about backups.
I'm sure Cassel has more value in practice than he does as a back-up. I understand that.
Pats Fan 4 Live you are so right! (LOL)
If you're surprised by Cassel still being on the team then you haven't been listening or thinking about it.
Pats Fan 4 LIfe @ 43 - I sense sarcasm.
why are you all saying you are so surprised that TE Stephen Spach is still there? he was called in last year cause the TE's can't seem to stay healthy...why would the team take that chance again? and why have a lineman occaisonally serve as a TE when you can have TE serve as a TE. hmmm..that makes sense. he is a solid blocker and that is what is expected by the 3rd TE. im not surprised at all...i knew he was making the team.
besides...BB always keeps 3TE's. sooo GET over it. Spach is solid.
Keeping 8 WRs doesn't make sense unless BB/SP think they can work out a trade for a backup OL with some team desperate for WR help. I doubt we carry 5 RBs into the season given how poorly we run block. I'm sure the're stockpiling good players for early season trades.
To be honest I'm not surprised that Guitierrez got cut. What I saw in the last game is that when he had to face a rush he was always throwing off the wrong foot. My guess is that he has done this in practice and was something the Pats were watching. Sad to say Cassel is probably on the team by default and lets just hope we don't have to see him on the field anytime soon.
Go Pats!!
Cassel, though he had not performed well, has a better grasp of the offense than Gutierrez. O'Connell is the long term solution regardless. Also, the problem with Bryant that I saw was not coverage, but tackling. In the two-gap system, outside linebackers that set the edge and corners that can tackle soundly are at a premium....case in point is Hobbs, he is an average cover corner (at best) but is a smart player and sound tackler. As far as Ty Law goes...we know he maintains a relationship with the team and his previous departure would not preclude a comeback; but his asking price would have to come way down in my opinion.
TY LAW IS NOT COMING BACK.
I don't know why everyone thinks that is going to happen. He's old, slow, and wants way too much money.
As for Cassel, he knows the offense much better than Gutz. He looked decent in the two series he played in the Giants game, partly because he had Matt Light blocking his blind side instead of Wesley Britt. Gutz is also still eligible for the practice squad if he makes it through waivers.
Cassel over Guitierrez is puzzling (at least until we see what future, if any, moves are made), but not even close to the puzzling and disturbing possibility that Sarah Palin could be President within the next four years. If only we scrutinized our politicians the way we do our sports teams...
u guys are a bunch of idiots. belichick knows what the hell he is doing. just because u have a good fantasy football team doesn't mean u know how to be a GM
I just love the comment by Pats Fan 4 Live (I assume his name has now changed), that he's no longer a Patriots fan because Cassel is still on the team. It's great that what he's missing in perspective he's more that compensating for with his finely tuned sense of irony.
With Terrance Holt being cut by the panthers any chance of bringing him in to shore up the secondary?
Cass is getting murdered here. He started clicking once or twice in the preseason. Realistically, he is the only player on the roster who could possibly fill in for a while if Brady went down.
Would love to see Ty Law back. Ventrone is a new guy to really root for. As far as a new backup QB I'd still like to see that moron Culpepper brought in. That idiot can really sling the ball.
The DBs should be ok. What would a Bill do with a respectable looking cornerback tandem. He's never won a Super Bowl with one.
In Bill We Trust
Go Pats!!! 14-2 SB Champs
I'm surprised no one has done a count - there are 55 names on the roster. Okay, Faulk is suspended for 1 game, so that accounts for one roster exemption. Is the other roster exemption for Kazur? If there is a suspension we just haven't been told and don't know the duration for suspension (minimum could be 1 game, at best, 4 weeks the worst?). Could there be someone other than Kazur?
As far as everyone else making the team as of right now....hey, that's not our job to make personnel decisions. That's a job for BB & SP. Our job is that of LOYAL Pats fans!!! I'm just really curious to see how it all turns out. Let the games begin!

Dear Pats Fan 4 Live..
You obviously were never a Pats fan at all. And "Backup QB is more important than normal QB"? Lay off the drugs. Matt Cassel I was sure was getting cut. He didnt. Must be a good reason. You can say BB is a bum? I think you are another trolling Jet fan. Get lost, you loser. This year is a little scary, but we ARE adding alot of youth. I'm excited to see what happens! GO PATS!!!! p.s. Rosevelt Colvin is now available, too. Maybe we get him back?
Wow. I love this. All of a sudden, we've got a bunch of arm chair quarterbacks claiming that Belichick is a bum....no good....crazy....etc.
Ummm folks. I think he has done enough around here to demand our trust, despite the fact that some here don't believe it.
Yes, I was surprised about Cassell, but then again, I wasn't. Cassell had a poor PS. But there isn't another quarterback on the roster who knows the system to the extent like Cassell. Yes, he's sucked. But then again, his offense line has sucked. His pass protection has sucked. Think about it folks.
Here's what you have to remember about these cuts. There is a lot that fans don't see. We don't know how these players react in the locker room, we don't know their work ethic, and we don't know their history in practice. Cassel may have lost out in the games, but Gutierrez's preparation and off-field actions may have concerned the Patriots.
Also, Ty Law is not better than our corners. He's smart, but he does not have to athletic ability to play like he used to. It's just not there. Lewis Sanders is a solid corner and Terrence Wheatley had an excellent preseason. He'll be a steal. Colvin isn't the same either. We have 5 OLBs (Thomas, Vrabel, Woods, Guyton, and Crable) who all had a good preseason. There's a reason no one had wanted him and why Houston released him today.
If there is a player to watch, it's Willie Anderson. Anderson has been one of the best right tackles in the NFL during the past decade and is someone who could be looking for a winning football team.
Ooops. my error - I missed that Vince Redd was waived. Okay 54. Maybe that indicates Kazur is okay...you'd think he would have gotten a suspension to start the season if that was going to happen. Guess that's kinda good news, right? Will be interesting to see who gets picked up for the practice squad.
I wonder if they'll take a look at Ricky Manning Jr., who got cut from the Bears, at DB
lighten up folks. BB knows what he is doing. We weren't at every practice to see what players perform and make adjustments on the fly and which players fail to understand the scemes that BB runs. This is a BB trait. Lots of film to look at after each practice. some players just don't meet up to BB standards. Cassel just might have torched Bryant in practice whereas Gutteriez didn't perform as well as the other QB's.
I thought that Cassel is not going to get cut and I posted it in one of the treads couple of days ago. Cassel knows the system too well though not good at executing. If at all Cassel is cut that will be at the end of a season or something like that. But cutting Gutz was a surprise....thought that they would carry 4 QBs but looks like the need to have a balanced team got him cut...hope he makes it to the practice squad.
Peyton must be licking his lips.....what do we have at CBs...hope Bill has better sense than all of us.
Any chance of the Pats going after Willie Anderson since he was cut by the Bengals? I know he will be commanding high $, but with Light's injury and a potential suspension for Kaczur, I don't like out OT situation.
Who cares about back-up quarterback at this point? As of right now, our starting CB's must be Hobbs and WHEATLEY. Right? A rookie starting CB on a Super Bowl challenger? IBWT........deep breath.......IBWT........deep breath........I'm stunned...............
I'm really surprised that Bryant got cut with the lack of depth at CB. If room for Law is being made indeed then okay but I'd cut Lewis Sanders instead of Bryant, who gives more speed. For anyone saying they're not a Patriot fan anymore just cuz Cassel is staying wasn't ever a fan, so get your whining patootees out of Patriot Nation. Good to see Guyton, Ventrone and Jones making the roster.
OK, what, exactly, does Cassel have that allows him to remain, pictures of Belichick sneaking out of Mrs. Kraft's bedroom window? Maybe nude shots of Pioli and Belichick on the Nantasket Beach?
Whatever it is, Cassel is, without a doubt, the worst looking excuse for an NFL quarterback that I have ever seen in over 55 years of watching NFL football, from before the Patriots ever existed.
And the cornerback situation is even worse with not one bonafide NFL starter on the roster.
I am absolutely amazed that the Belichick/Pioli team could allow this to happen, absolutely amazed.
colvin coming back..... now that he has learned his true value?
There is a lot of frustation towards the decision to keep Cassel on the team. Believe me, that is the least of the problem for PATS. How many games has Tom brady missed in the last 4 years? I would worry more about the defense and especially the seconday. There is great opportunity for youngsters and potentially a lot of upside for the PATs in almost all areas of defense but if these players don't step up, it will be very tough. I think Signing Ty Law like siging lynch is a prudent idea at this point. Secondary experience wins over speed, IMHO.
Ty Law, isn't he collecting social security by now?
Like I said, Ty is not coming back. Get over it.
Gary Guyton is the man!!!
I have never seen a quarterback so inept at moving a football team down the field
I don't pretend to be an arm chair quarterback but I have been around football long enough to know when a player cannot perform at this level ...If Brady re-injures his foot we won't even make the play-offs......In order to win you have to put points on the board and in the 4 years I have seen Matt Cassell is incapable of doing that !!!
I am not second guessing B.B but in not cutting Matt Cassell it tells me he is searching for something that is not there even if you resign Cassell for another 4 years...........................talent
You mean, like relying on a rookie Eugene Wilson as a starter in the secondary back in 2003?
Or Lawyer Milloy back in 1996?
Yeah rookies can't cut it on a Super Bowl challenger. Where would BB ever get a crazy idea like that?
For jackodn. Belichick is a great coach, but he is not perfect. No one is. And contrary to what you believe, sometimes fans are right in what they say.
Bryant sucks. He got bull rushed right into the end zone by a 2nd string Tight end Friday night. The situation looks rough. I'm not really sure Ty Law is the answer. He's not real fast but he does have football knowledge in a big way. The rest of the roster looks good but CB has big time holes to fill. Coles and Cotchery will light them up in week 2 esp. with Farve slinging it down field. They need some help at CB
wow. this is the worst cornerback unit ive ever seen. not that its BBs fault or anything, its just that ellis hobbs- cant play to save his life. L sanders- okay. rookies- well, theyre just that- rookies until they prove they can play in the big league. i dont know if law would be that big a boost. our safetys and front 7 will make up for the CBs. our D line and OLBs are scary, the best in the league by far.
how could you argue with BB and pioli about roster decisions. they are considered the bestin the buisiness, and with good reason. sure, cassel didnt have good preseason GAMES, but do you know what it was like in practice, in the locker room, in the film room, in the weight room, when he talks to coaches and players. hes been around for what, 5 years? hes a better backup than Gutti by far. besides with that O line and chad jacksons mistakes, even tom wouldnt shine.... well, maybe he would
Let's just hope that the pat's go after Chris Sims!
For urico. Chad Jackson will become the receiver we all thought he was when drafted. All that needs to be done for that to happen is to have the ball thrown to him and not keep him on the bench.
Worst corner unit? How people forget the days of Chris Canty. The Corners are as good as the people in front of them.
The Pats need to get a solid starter along with ellis hobbs. we could look at terrence wheatly or lewis sanders for a number three spot if the pats sign a starting corner. the truth is you cant count out the pats secondary yet becasue there could be multiple signings of corners before the opener
Ty Law needs to be in a patriot uniform asap!
Deltha O'Neal= Fernando Bryant x3
I think this might be a steal pickup, maybe he lost a step, but critics are critics. he might end up having a Corey Dillon like impact. If anything they used to be Bengals.
I do hope we get Vince Redd back though.
Any chance of Matt Chatham signing with us? Personally I think he should buy all Pats fans dinner for breaking the unspoken rule before he even talks to BB
