Chiefs downgrade 3

Posted by Mike Reiss, Globe Staff September 6, 2008 05:08 PM

The Chiefs have downgraded three players to out on their injury report:

  • LB Napoleon Harris (knee)
  • WR Will Franklin (knee)
  • WR Maurice Price (thigh)

Harris is a backup to Pat Thomas, and his absence is not considered a surprise. With both Franklin and Price out, the Chiefs -- assuming they have not made a roster move -- will enter Sunday's game with three receivers: Dwayne Bowe, Devard Darling and Jeff Webb.

    1. Since Edwards will run 99% of the time and Gonzalez catches the other 1%, that's still 2 receivers too many.
