Dolphins 28, Patriots 6

Posted by Chris Forsberg, Boston.com Staff September 21, 2008 02:55 PM

Running back Ronnie Brown continues to find ways to hurt the Patriots (and get the Dolphins into the end zone).

Once again lined up at quarterback, Brown took a direct snap on a third-down play and ran to his left before floating a 19-yard touchdown pass to tight end Anthony Fasano as the Dolphins increased their lead to 28-6 with 5:46 remaining in the third quarter.

The drive spanned 79 yards on 10 plays over 6:25.

Brown scored three rushing touchdowns in the first half, including two while running in a direct snap from the quarterback position.
