Here's a look at the hit that injured Patriots quarterback Tom Brady during the first quarter of today's season-opener against the Kansas City Chiefs.

Chiefs safety Bernard Pollard rolled into Brady's left leg as he followed through on a completion to Randy Moss.

  1. That looks bad. Hopefully it's better than it looks

  1. Looks like his right lateral collateral ligament has taken a beating. It's tough to tell how bad it is just from this photograph.

    Hope it's not too bad.

  1. Cheap shot. This thug should be banned from the league until further notice. No need for this cr&p, that is a Pittsburgh type play.

  1. Hmm ... and Morris is laying on top of Pollard and seemingly pushing him into Brady's leg ...

Saying Pollard rolled onto his leg is mudslinging at this juncture. If he indeed purposely rolled onto Brady's leg, then it was a dirty play and he should be penalized accordingly (what penalty did Wilfork get last year for doing this to Losman ... ?) I'm sure I'll see the video replay ad nauseum so I'll know for sure after that. But a still photo is not conclusive and can be misleading.

  1. Does this go back to the last year's Superbowl? Tom was sacked so many times in that game. Then, he does not play any pre-season games because of his "foot." Now this. I do not want to be a naysayer, however the glory days could be over
