Kyle Eckel released

The Patriots announced the release of fullback Kyle Eckel today. Eckel, who was with the team in training camp but was cut before the season began, had been re-signed Sept. 15. Eckel was inactive for Sunday’s game against the Dolphins.

  1. Good, that probably means Maroney will be back next week...or two weeks.

  1. more like good maybe they will bring in someone who can block,or pass protect.or someone who can create running lanes for a negative running year so far.

  1. Did Eckel play QB ever, counting flag football?? Give him a chance. Went fromFlutie as a back up to Cassel. Good move Bill. Hide in your hoodie for a while
