FOXBOROUGH -- The Patriots are holding their afternoon practice today on the lower field behind Gillette Stadium (12:45 p.m.) and the return of safety Brandon Meriweather was particularly notable.

Players are in full pads for the session. Those not spotted during the media-access portion of the workout include:

  • RB Kevin Faulk (suspension)
  • C/G Dan Connolly
  • TE Benjamin Watson
  • WR Sam Aiken
  • DL Le Kevin Smith

    1. Tim, the plan is to provide those updates on the KC game. Thanks for asking. Chris, on Brady, I would just repeat what I've been saying: I think his foot is a concern and they'll have to manage him. He looks uncomfortable at times to me. I heard about the WEEI conversation in which it was mentioned that Brady might have a broken bone in his foot. I have not been able to confirm that. Andrew, Meriweather looked good to me. Didn't see any lingering issues.
