Video: Gasper's keys vs. Jets

The Globe's Chris Gasper details three key areas to watch when the Patriots visit the Jets Sunday in Week 2 of the NFL season (and one of them isn't the postgame handshake between the coaches).

Written summary:

1) Kris Jenkins impact. The Jets acquired Jenkins in a trade and at 6-foot-4, 349 pounds, he is tough to move at nose tackle. This will challenge the Patriots as they try to establish more of a running game.

2) Who is Dwight Lowery? The Jets are using Lowery, a rookie, as one of their top cornerbacks. The Patriots figure to try to match Randy Moss up against him, which will be a one-on-one challenge to watch closely.

3) Brett Favre factor. The new Jets quarterback is known to take chances. Can the Patriots force him into some bad decisions?

Maybe it's too obvious but I think I'm going to be watching Cassell to see if he can manage this team with a week to prepare. It's one thing to be suddenly thrust into the game due to an injury. It's another to have an entire week to think about your first meaningful start in a game since high school. I'm hoping he's going to shine on Sunday.
